The original intention of this edition of Dorm Daze, Vol. 2 was to use the surviving master tracks, backing tracks, live takes, and demos to rebuild the album for a cleaner and more-realized version of the album. Since I deleted or lost most of the original components, I was "sweeping up the broken pieces."

Not getting the result I had set out to achieve, I ended up re-recording most of the songs; "Ceramics" and "Little Boys Room" are closer to what I had planned to do, as they are remixes of the originals with new vocals and overdubs.

This album was meant to have a grand theatrical/orchestral sound, mixed with Beatlesque psychedelia and with the re-records I finally have it sounding how I always dreamed it would!

Maybe one day I will get to remake the album with an orchestra or Broadway troupe; but for now, here is the broken pieces edition.
